Weekly Photo Challenge: Today is my lucky day

Weekly Photo Challenge: Today

My mum bought lots of fortune cookies for charity. And when I mean a lot- I MEAN a lot. There are over 300 of them!

Today my mum brought the fortune cookies from underneath the table and then I saw my neighbours all playing. I said “Can I go and give the fortune cookies to my friends?” and mum said “Yes of course”. So I went and  gave everyone a cookie (I had one of course!).

A fortune cookie.

The messages were quite funny:

  • You will never be taken in (meaning you will never be fooled.)
  • You will be rich.
  • Six days time is your lucky day.
  • Thursday is your lucky day.
  • The colour blue is lucky for you.
  • You will be safe from all illnesses.
  • You’ll make very good friends in the coming months.
  • Today is the tomorrow you look forward to.

And even MORE!

You may think the fortune cookies come from China, they’re not really!

But everyone knows the fortunes aren’t real- or are they? Please leave a comment about your fortune cookies!

  3. I’m into fortune cookies … enjoy eating them too! I hear they are supposed to be offered, not taken?
