Weekly Photo Challenge – Growth with Python
Today my mum and I went to Sentosa Island in Singapore. (More on the island in a later post). We went to Underwater World and there was a snake charmer called Sha there. He owned two snakes called Romeo and Juliet and they were HUGE pythons. You could have your picture taken with both snakes for $10 Singapore dollars. At first I just wanted one snake but I was finally persuaded to hold both.
So, what has this got to do with growth? Well, snakes shed their skin and Sha said R&J were 7 feet (or about 2 meters). But when R&J hatched they must have been tiny. So, over the years they have grown- a lot! Pythons aren’t venomous and they don’t bite- but they kill! (Just kidding)

Yikes! >:O
I think the $10 was very well spent!
The names Romeo and Juliet are rather suitable for two gigantic pythons!
aren’t you scared?? so brave!
Ben, you’re so brave! but don’t try carrying me, I don’t kill but i bite!
